Advisory Board
The Take Charge America Institute fulfills its mission to create research-based educational programs that will improve personal financial education and ultimately shape consumer behavior with the support of three distinctive advisory groups. Overall Institute programming is guided by the Take Charge America Institute Advisory Board which meets twice a year.
The Research Advisory Council is comprised of nationally known scholars representing a variety of disciplines who will help guide the research agenda and link it to the Institute’s educational programs.
The Educational Advisory Board, also known as the Family Economics and Financial Education Master Teacher Team, is a team of classroom educators who develop, test, and revise curriculum materials and provide ongoing programming guidance.
